One of two limited edition lithographs produced in 2021 by Stockholm based painter David von Bahr. Von Bahr is abstract painter recognized by his expressive canvas paintings created in concentrated bursts of high-action effort through controlled color spraying and layers of paint and glue. Translated into this alternative medium of printed paper, the artist’s recurring pattern compositions are still present. The lithographs have been given the Swedish titles “Månförmörkelse” and “Röd skog”, translating to “Lunar Eclipse” and “Red Forest” respectively.
